Working in partnership with Test Valley Community Services TVCS www.tvcs.org.uk, Minerva is offering a free, two-hour strategic communications workshop for Romsey charities and voluntary and community groups in November.
The informal, interactive event focuses on ‘Making your voice heard’ – finding funding, connecting with communities and establishing reputation across multiple channels. It will include areas such as clarifying priorities, identifying providers, working with politicians connecting with people and handling the press.
The workshop will be packed full of practical activities, expert advice and ‘top tips’, including a guest talk from a keynote presenter with specialist local insight.
“Making your voice heard is not always easy in a crowded and competitive market,” explains Rhonda Smith, Director of Minerva. “But with the right support, organisations can learn that there are many simple and effective channels available to help them create impact. We really hope charities and community groups in the Southern Test Valley area take advantage of this free opportunity to debate, discuss and share their ideas.”
The same course, offered in the Northern Test Valley area earlier this year attracted excellent feedback, with 100% of delegates saying it was well-structured and gave them a better understanding of the topic.
Other comments included “Great course – very informative and friendly”, and “Well-presented in a relaxed environment. Lots of hints, tips and ideas – brilliant!”
